You will be a critical member of the growing DevOps team, focusing on exploring, designing and implementing tools to build a robust platform, guiding development and documenting automation standards for use across the enterprise. Collaborate across all technology teams to build out operational capabilities supporting secure, scalable, fault-tolerant cloud-based web architecture. Platform includes CI pipelines, environments for running applications, monitoring and cloud maintenance tools. Additional responsibilities include keeping sites up and running, automating deployments, configuration management and capacity management.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide a microservices-based cloud-based landscape to host a variety of web applications and services for all global users.
  • Deploy a scalable infrastructure, which hosts a variety of web applications and API’s.
  • Research and implement new systems to keep the cloud-based landscape at the forefront of technological innovation.
  • Automate deployment and continuously monitor a scalable, immutable infrastructure to ensure that all customers have their products and services available at all times.
  • Build, maintain, and troubleshoot company products
  • Develop and run strategic automation tools and projects
  • Work with build automation tools like Maven, Gradle.
  • Develop internal tools and processes to maintain stability and performance of infrastructure
  • Research, review, analyze, troubleshoot, and document product-related IT systems
  • Present technical and business subjects to technical and non-technical audiences

BACKGROUND

  • Strong Linux Administration experience including Linux scripting.
  • Intermediate programming and scripting knowledge
  • Good experience with integrating application and security test automation into DevOps pipelines
  • Strong experience automating CI/CD pipelines and repetitive tasks with Ansible, Python, JavaScript or Bash
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Thorough understanding of TCP/IP networking and DNS
  • Good experience working with Docker containers and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.)
  • Experience with Tomcat, Redis, Solr, Nginx and Nirvana Messaging is a plus
