Job Details
This is an opportunity for a senior software engineer with a state government agency supporting internal web tools. You'll work with a legacy Microsoft stack, including ASP.NET, VB.NET, WebForms, SQL, and JavaScript. This will be 6 weeks onsite in Boston, then 3 days a week.
You'll maintain a large suite of internal applications used by multiple divisions and contribute to tools that have a direct impact on state operations.
Contract Duration: 12 - 24 Months
Required Skills & Experience
6+ years of experience with ASP.NET and C#/VB.NET
Strong hands-on experience with WebForms
Experience maintaining and enhancing legacy applications
SQL and JavaScript experience
Desired Skills & Experience
Experience with documentation or internal enterprise systems
Comfortable working in structured, government, or compliance-driven environments
