CCH Tagetik Systems Analyst (Only G.C / U.S.C)

Position Summary:
As a Technical Systems Analyst specializing in CCH Tagetik, the individual will be essential in managing the systems that facilitate Solvency II, actuarial, and financial regulatory reporting within the insurance sector. By guaranteeing precision and dependability of reporting infrastructures, this role stands at the intersection of Technology, Finance, Actuarial, and Risk departments. Responsibilities encompass data management, system functionality, configuration, and the advancement of reporting mechanisms.
Primary Duties:
System Operations & Performance Management:
- Maintain operational integrity and performance optimisation for Tagetik, AIH, and other reporting tools throughout report generation cycles.
- Provide technical support for Solvency II quantitative reporting forms (QRTs), narrative disclosures, and submission processes for EU-based regulatory bodies.
- Oversee diagnostics for reporting systems, ensuring swift resolution and data integrity across financial and risk reporting chains.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Tagetik and other finance and risk reporting platforms.
Data Handling & System Integration for Insurance:
- Engineer and oversee data structures and transformation protocols within Tagetik and AIH, catering to various data points such as actuarial, policy, and claims data.
- Supervise complete data import processes, ensuring thorough validation and proper data conversion.
- Implement and certify accuracy of Solvency II taxonomy alterations.
- Maintain comprehensive data lineage and full documentation for transparency and traceability throughout reporting systems.
Continuous Systems Advancement & Process Improvement:
- Spearhead system upgrades to align Tagetik and AIH functionalities with regulatory amendments.
- Convert complex insurance regulations into actionable system designs and technological implementations.
- Uncover and enact measures for improving automation and efficiency within data systems and reporting operations.
- Facilitate seamless interaction with actuarial systems (Prophet, RAFM, etc.) where applicable.
Documentation, Compliance & Educational Outreach:
- Generate detailed technical documents outlining systems components, regulatory correlations, and configurations.
- Educate teams in Finance, Actuarial, and Risk concerning the workings of reporting systems and informational frameworks.
- Verify compliance with procedural guidelines, encompassing testing protocols, user acceptance testing (UAT), approvals, and audit trails.
Engagement with Stakeholders & Project Contributions:
- Collaborate with company stakeholders to align with and support various reporting objectives.
- Coordinate updates and modifications with software suppliers and IT collaborators for Tagetik and AIH.
- Participate in the broader scope of project cycles, particularly in projects concerning regulatory changes and data infrastructure enhancements.
Essential Expertise, Capabilities & Credentials:
Technical Proficiencies:
- Proven expertise in deploying or upholding CCH Tagetik within a reporting context.
- Familiarity with data storage platforms like AIH and comprehension of insurance-related data schemas.
- Advanced SQL knowledge and complex data handling background.
- Excel skills and adeptness in data processing, system integration, and reporting streamlining.
- Experience in integrating various insurance platforms and systems.
- Acquaintance with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar systems is beneficial.
Industry & Regulation Acumen:
- Deep knowledge of Solvency II framework and associated reporting requirements.
- Understanding of financial reporting principles, insurance accounting, and actuarial fundamentals.
- Updated on regulatory transformations impacting the insurance industry.
