Infrastructure Project Manager (Legal)

• 5+ years of work experience in an IT department
• 3+ years of work experience managing technology implementation projects
• Project management or previous experience with networks, infrastructure, Azure, servers, telephony and/or technical or security operations

Our client, well-established, national law firm is seeking an experienced, results-driven IT Project Manager to oversee and deliver technology initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in managing technology-related projects, excellent multitasking abilities, and the skills to communicate effectively with both stakeholders and leadership. This position plays a key role in ensuring project success from initiation to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning: Develop and maintain detailed project plans outlining tasks, resources, and dependencies.
• Project Execution: Coordinate resources and drive progress; resolve project-related issues to ensure timely completion.
• Analysis & Monitoring: Conduct technical and business analysis, manage risks, and maintain budget and scope adherence.
• Stakeholder Communication: Keep leadership and stakeholders informed on progress, risks, and changes.
• Resource & Risk Management: Allocate team resources effectively and proactively manage risks and mitigation plans.
• Project Closure: Define and execute project closing criteria; ensure all deliverables and outcomes are met.
• Independently manage multiple small to mid-sized projects at any given time.
• Navigate ambiguity, manage competing priorities, and maintain progress in evolving conditions.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in an IT environment, including 3+ years managing technical projects
• Background in infrastructure, cloud platforms (Azure), networking, or security operations strongly preferred
• Experience in a legal environment is a must
• Bachelor s degree required; PMP certification preferred
• Proficient in tools such as Microsoft Teams/365, Monday.com, and common legal tech platforms (e.g., Litera, Intapp, BigHand)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving capabilities
• Comfortable in a hybrid work schedule, with three in-office days per week at the firm s headquarters
