Technical Business Analyst

NTT DATA's Client is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to serve as the operational resource to help achieve remediation of user/service accounts (password resets), gather and improve data on system/application ownership, and coordination of Java remediation.
Additional coordination and remediation activities as assigned.
Role Scope / Deliverables:
Account Management Coordination:

• Track and coordinate user account password resets with business end users.
• Maintain records of reset activities and ensure progress status.
• Experience: 5-7 years in account management coordination.

• Work with stakeholders across the organization to accurately identify system and application owners.
• Experience: 5-7 years in system and application ownership identification.

• Identify systems with outdated or unused software versions (i.e., Java, Win10, Win2008, etc.).
• Participate in Windows 10 to Windows 11 data gathering and remediation efforts.
• Collaborate with desktop engineering and system administration teams to plan and track remediation efforts.
• Report status updates and escalate blockers as needed.
• Experience: 5-7 years in software licensing and system remediation.

• Maintain and update ownership records in the configuration management database (CMDB) or applicable system of record.
• Provide feedback on discovered data to the CMDB team for updates.
• Experience: 5-7 years in CMDB and configuration management.

• Provide regular status updates to management and leadership teams.
• Facilitate communications between business and technical teams.
• Coordinate meetings, document action items, and follow up on deliverables.
• Experience: 5-7 years in cross-functional team collaboration.

• Project Coordination & Tracking:
• Meticulous planning and status-tracking able to juggle password reset schedules, remediation sprints (Win10 11, Java updates), and CMDB updates without dropping the ball.
• Proficiency with ticketing/change-management tools to log progress, escalate blockers, and drive tasks to closure.
• Experience: 5-7 years in project coordination and tracking.

• Strong at building rapport across business units, desktop engineering, system admins, and leadership able to pinpoint who "owns each system or application and get them to move on action items.
• Skilled at facilitating meetings, documenting decisions, and keeping all parties aligned.
• Experience: 5-7 years in stakeholder engagement and relationship management.

• Hands-on familiarity with common remediation targets (Java versions, Windows OS upgrades, end-of-life systems like Win2008) to accurately scope effort, anticipate pitfalls, and validate completed work.
• Comfort liaising with engineering teams on patch packaging, rollout schedules, and rollback plans.
• Experience: 5-7 years in technical remediation.

• Deep understanding of configuration management databases (CMDBs) how to update ownership records, feed discovered data back to the CMDB team, and ensure the "single source of truth stays accurate.
• Attention to detail for data hygiene, audit trails, and compliance requirements.
• Experience: 5-7 years in CMDB and configuration management.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication able to craft concise status updates, executive-friendly dashboards, and actionable remediation reports.
• Experience with escalation matrices and RACI frameworks to ensure the right people hear the right message at the right time.
• Experience: 5-7 years in clear communication and reporting.

About NTT DATA:
Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is $50 to $58. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications. This position may also be eligible for incentive compensation based on individual and/or company performance.
