Role : Senior MES Engineer

Location : Tuscaloosa, Alabama

Duration : Fulltime Hire

Job Description :

• Responsibility in MES projects: from requirement discussion-> project related document preparation -> IRS discussion -> follow up (IRS / Operations) -> implementation, testing and support.

• MES System monitoring, troubleshooting, problem resolution and implementation.

• MES support - configuration of printers, scanners (PPC), PBL controllers and carts, part labels, MES

• Configure and troubleshoot barcode scanners.

• Basic level network troubleshooting.

• DB troubleshooting and monitoring, MES user management, adhoc report creation

• Training new MES shift engineers, assisting them in troubleshooting

• Track and control MES devices and their configurations

• As a senior Engineer should be able to troubleshoot other systems that are integrated with MES (such as JIS sequence system, Paintshop system, SAP, AIB, HMI etc.)

Soft skills

• Work with departments resources on process/project development (i.e, production)

• Ability to work in a team environment.

• Ability to determine when next level problem escalation is necessary.

• Should be in experienced in customer service, as well as excellent verbal and written communications skills.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor of Science degree in computer science, MIS, or equivalent hands-on work experience.

• Minimum of 4+ Years of experience with Information Technology, preferably in Manufacturing industry.
