Process & Application Lead V
Contract (1 Year + Possible Extension)
Rosemead, CA (Hybrid)

Pay Rate: $105-110 an hour on W2 (DOE)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP-enabled Finance solutions, covering SAP S/4HANA, MDG, BW4HANA, Datasphere, SAC, and third-party tools like Blackline, OneSource, VIM, Taulia, Finance4U, Power Plan, Tagetik, and UI Planner.
  • Contribute to sprint planning using hybrid Agile (POD-based) methodology; map features to epics/user stories and support SI and business teams during development.
  • Review and provide feedback on SI documentation (FSD, TSD, BCD, PDD, BPP) and validate SAP S/4 build configurations against requirements.
  • Support or perform configuration tasks and maintain proper documentation.
  • Identify, escalate, and help mitigate technical risks to ensure project scope, timeline, and resource alignment.
  • Assist with planning and execution of testing cycles (SIT, UAT, performance, regression), mock cutovers, data conversions, and deployment in collaboration with IT operations.
Required Skills:
  • Over 10 years of experience leading large-scale SAP Finance transformation programs in SAP S/4HANA. Deep expertise in end-to-end finance processes using SAP FI/CO/TR/PS, including GL, AR/AP, management accounting, consolidations, fixed assets (Power Plan), project systems, billing-to-cash, FP&A, and analytics.
  • Strong cross-functional knowledge in SAP SD, MM, and Plant Maintenance. Proficient in implementing/working with multiple Finance-related applications such as Blackline, Icertis, OneSource, OpenText VIM, Taulia, Tagetik, Power Plan, UI Planner, and Utegration Finance4U.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP BTP, Cloud ABAP, Fiori, and traditional ABAP (RICEFW in ECC). Familiar with SAP BW4HANA, Datasphere, SAC, and SAP Cloud ALM (Epics/User Stories). Exposure to SAP Signavio for business process management and Redwood for job scheduling.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills. Bachelor s degree in IT, Finance, or related field; SAP S/4HANA certification preferred.
