W2 - IT ARCHITECT (API development, Python, Node, ReactJS, Cloud, Healthcare, Data design) - Remote

Requirements:

-5+ years experience building distributed software systems with n-tier architectures.

-Should have an expert level of experience in one of the following and be proficient in all: API development with Python, Node, Java, or .Net. Frontend development with ReactJS, JavaSript, HTML/CSS.

-Operations integration with reporting and performance tools.

-Experience with cloud-based deployment environments.

-Designs comprehensive technical solution/architecture to meet business requirements.

-Ensures alignment with organization IT and industry best practices.

-Strong background in software engineering

Job Summary: Provides leadership in the technical design, selection, and application of the of information systems resources to satisfy the system's requirements. Facilitates system technical reviews within the institution to ensure appropriate technical architecture and design, including understanding and applying concepts of enterprise architecture to ensure systems align, adhere and integrate within client Information Technology enterprise environment. Aids in technical planning for areas supported by work units as part of yearly division planning.

-Provides technical leadership in system architecture, design principles, software development methodologies, and selection of information systems within their division.

-Understands and applies concepts of enterprise architecture to ensure systems align, adhere, and integrate within client Information Technology enterprise environment.

-Develops technical proposals that consider alternatives and business case, gains needed institutional approvals and works effectively across departmental organizations gaining consensus of stakeholders.

-Recognized within their division as a technical expert and is sought out for their in-depth knowledge of a broad range of current technologies and these technologies apply to the client environment.

-Participates on committees to establish technical standards, promote integration of data, and/or coordination of projects across work units.

-Serves as an active member of technical workgroups needed to advance project objectives.

Education: Required Education:-Bachelor's degree and five (5) years' experience including three (3) years' demonstrated technical experience and one (1) year of demonstrated leadership experience.OR-Associate's degree and nine (9) years' experience including three (3) years' demonstrated technical experience and one (1) year of demonstrated leadership experience.

Preferred Education:-Master's degree in applicable field preferred.
