responsibilities:
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
- Provide white-glove technical support to end-users for all hardware (desktops, laptops, mobile devices), software, and network-related issues.
- Manage, troubleshoot, and support video conferencing sessions using Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT equipment, software licenses, and assets.
- Document all support activities, user requests, and resolutions meticulously in the firm's ticketing system.
- Adhere to established IT procedures and best practices, contributing to a secure and efficient technology environment.
- Work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team to tackle complex challenges.
qualifications:
Required Skills & Experience (Must-Haves):
Proven experience in a help desk, desktop support, or technical support role.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 11 and the Microsoft 365 suite (especially Outlook, Word, and Teams).
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient, customer-centric approach to support.
Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and tasks quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Ability and willingness to periodically travel to other firm offices as required.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):
Experience with iManage document management systems is strongly preferred.
Prior experience working within a law firm or professional services environment (e.g., accounting, consulting).
An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
