JOB SUMMARY
Vaco Technology is currently seeking an Agile Coach / SCRUM Master Lead for a Direc-Hire opportunity that is located in Plano, TX 75074 (onsite 4-days per week M-TH). The Agile Coach / SCRUM Master Lead will guide the Agile transformation by embedding best practices and fostering a high-performing, collaborative environment. The Agile Coach / SCRUM Master Lead will ensure consistent delivery and clarity in requirements, empowering teams through coaching and standardizing Agile frameworks across the organization.

  • Assess Agile Maturation - Tailoring Strategies to Enhance Team Performance / Speed of Delivery

About the Project: This position is responsible for leading the organization's transition from a traditional Waterfall delivery model to a fully defined and scalable Agile environment. The Agile Coach / SCRUM Master Lead will architect and implement Agile frameworks, including defining team structures, roles, ceremonies, tooling, and delivery processes, within a greenfield context. Initially functioning as a hands-on contributor, the Agile Coach / SCRUM Master Lead will also play a strategic role in building and scaling Agile capabilities across multiple business units. Over time, they will be responsible for standing up and leading cross-functional Agile teams, hiring key roles to support growth, and managing multiple direct reports. Key priorities in the first 6-12 months include establishing standardized intake and execution processes, enabling product-focused agility, and guiding the organization through the cultural and structural changes necessary for sustained Agile adoption. This role requires strong leadership capabilities, a deep understanding of Agile and SCRUM frameworks (SAFe, SCRUM-of-SCRUMs, Kanban, etc.), and the ability to effectively interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Certifications (1+ certifications required): CSP (Certified SCRUM Professional) / SPC (SAFe Program Consultant) / ICAgile Certified Professional (ICE-AC / ICP-ACC) / CSM (Certified SCRUM Master)
