Job Details

Job Title: ServiceNow Administrator/Developer

Location: Jackson, MS- Remote but must report onsite once per quarter
Duration: 5 Years Contract

Overview:

IRG Clients is seeking ServiceNow Administrator/Developer to support and enhance its newly implemented IT Service Management (ITSM) module. This critical role ensures optimal performance, reliability, and scalability of the ServiceNow platform and will play a key part in future module expansions, including Public Sector Digital Services.

Key Responsibilities:

System Administration:

  • Act as the primary administrator for the ServiceNow ITSM module.
  • Monitor system health and manage user roles, permissions, and governance standards.

Break/Fix Support:

  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement permanent solutions.
  • Manage incident and request queues related to ServiceNow.

Development & Configuration:

  • Design/configure workflows, forms, business rules, UI policies, and service catalog items.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with external systems.
  • Build custom reports and dashboards.

Enhancements & Continuous Improvement:

  • Analyze business needs and deliver secure, scalable solutions within ServiceNow.
  • Recommend and implement improvements to workflows and features.

Training & Documentation:

  • Create user guides and system documentation.
  • Conduct training sessions for internal staff.

Collaboration & Planning:

  • Liaise between IT leadership, business units, and ServiceNow vendors.
  • Participate in roadmap planning and platform expansion initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Administrator/Developer.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) Required.
  • Proven expertise in the ITSM module (Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge, Service Catalog).
  • Strong skills in JavaScript, Glide scripting, ServiceNow APIs, update sets, and integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience working in public sector or Medicaid environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
  • Experience with Public Sector Digital Services or similar module implementations.
  • Familiarity with platform readiness for future expansion and module scaling.
