Job Title: ServiceNow Solutions Architect and Technical Manager Duration: Long term
Location: Woodlawn, MD (Onsite 5 days a week)
Note: Selected candidate must be willing to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD 5 days a week.
Key Required Skills:
Expertise in developing enterprise-wide architecture, leading multiple development and implementations, providing guidance and leadership with development Team Leads.
Position Description:

  • Lead the ServiceNow Architecture development, enhancements and implementations.
  • Collaborate with customers and stakeholders in utilizing ServiceNow for managing enterprise services and enhancements using new technologies (i.e., AI and automation).
  • Build roadmaps, provide recommendations, lead development and utilization of new technologies and services to enhance and fully utilize ServiceNow services and capabilities.
  • Provide assistance to development teams as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's and 12 years of experience, Master's and 10 years of experience or 18+ in lieu of a degree
  • 10+ years of experience as ServiceNow Developer
  • 5+ years as a ServiceNow Solutions Architect
  • 5+ years leading ServiceNow development teams
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

The selected candidate must be willing to work on-site in Woodlawn, MD 5 days a week.

  • ServiceNow CIS certification in multiple areas:

  • CIS Strategic Portfolio Management
  • CIS Application Portfolio Management
  • CIS Software Asset Management
  • CIS Hardware Asset Management
  • 5+ years of experience with technical discussions and reviews.
  • 5+ years of experience across numerous parts of the ServiceNow platform and experience with commonly integrated third-party technologies
  • 5+ years of experience with developing ServiceNow solutions across various platform applications, such as ITSM, ITOM (HAM and SAM), ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, HR
  • 5+ years of Industry experience (e.g. Financial Services, Healthcare, High Tech, Manufacturing, Retail, etc.)
  • 5+ years of technical leadership experience driving change/solutions.
  • Ability to work in a high growth, fast paced environment
  • Excellent understanding of system architecture, design principles, and impacts
  • Experience supporting IT related data integrity (CMDB, HAM, SAM etc.)
  • Excellent technical leadership skills and initiative to take on additional responsibilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills to deliver technical solutions simply and succinctly
  • Experience with the US Federal Government

Desired Skills:

  • Experience with Web development, including technologies such as X-HTML, CSS3, SQL, XML, Angular and JavaScript, PHP, .NET, or Java
  • Experience with implementing Java scripting to support automation across the various modules in ServiceNow
  • Experience with REST and SOAP web service protocols
  • Experience with Business Rules, Workflow, Identification Rules, Workspaces and External Portals
  • Knowledge of SAML, Active Directory, or LDAP
  • Specialized ServiceNow Developer Certifications, including ITSM, HAM, SAM, ITBM, CSM, SecOps, GRC, TRM/APM or HR
  • Project Management or Agile certification
  • ITILv4 Foundations Certification

Education:

  • Bachelor's and 12 years of experience, Master's and 10 years of experience or 18+ in lieu of a degree
