Job Details

Day-to-Day duties of the Position EFT Engineer to work in our Baltimore, MD office. This role requires a seasoned professional who has a full understanding EFT/MFT technology, processes, best practices, and use in the Federal Health IT space. The successful candidate will interface with customers and teams to support the existing EFT environment and daily operations.

Mandatory Technical Skills

  • 5+ years experience as a Unix/Linux system administrator, network administrator and/or application support role in IT operations.
  • 5+ years hands on experience with administration (building/updating integrations) and support for IBM Sterling (Connect:Direct on Unix, Control Center, B2B Integrator) and TIBCO Managed File Transfer (Command Center, Platform Server for Unix, Platform Serverfor z/OS)
  • 5+ years experience in installation, configuration and administration of IBM Sterling B2B Integrator, IBM Sterling Control Center and IBM Sterling Connect: Direct in Unix/Linux environments.
  • 5+ years experience in Networking hardware and protocol basics (OSI Model, IPv4addressing/masking, routing protocols, ARP, NAT, VLAN, VIP, TCP/UDP)
  • 5+ years Experience in Linux, preferably RHEL Scripting and Shell.

Mandatory Non-Technical Skills

  • Must have Strong communication skills, customer service and interpersonal skills. Able to work independently and with a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • AWS Certifications is a plus.
  • Experience in AWS Services required for transfer family integrations.
  • Experience in Python, PERL, Java/J2EE, SQL, HTML, JavaScript, XML, FTP.
  • Experience in File Encryption protocols - PGP, GPG
