Sentinel is looking for a motivated and technically skilled Network Support Analyst to join our 24/7 operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless performance of our clients IT infrastructure, including network, server, and VoIP systems. Working amongst some of the most talented and skilled engineers in the business will allow you to grow both personally and professionally. This position is onsite in our Downers Grove office Saturday-Tuesday 7am-5:30pm with an on-call day on Wednesday. Onboarding/Training will be Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm for the first 4-6 weeks. There will be opportunities to work hybrid once acclimated.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor network, server, and VoIP systems using real-time alerts and notifications.
- Perform first-level troubleshooting and escalate complex issues to senior engineers.
- Accurately document incidents in ticketing systems and knowledge bases.
- Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams during incidents.
- Coordinate with service providers for timely resolution of escalated issues.
- Follow ITIL-based incident management processes and contribute to continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a CCNA is required for this role.
- Experience with Cisco devices required. Fortigate and Palo Alto technologies a bonus!
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
- Hands-on familiarity with networking equipment (switches, routers, firewalls)
- Knowledge of IP networks, server solutions, and Cisco technologies
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- The candidate must have a car, as this position requires travel between location and the transportation of equipment
- A valid driver s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
- Must demonstrate a can-do attitude

Compensation Range:
NOC Analyst: $40,000-$70,000 a year.
