Seeking a seasoned Senior IT Project Manager (Contractor) to support our Enterprise Technology Finance team. This role will lead the delivery of small to medium-sized Finance IT initiatives and ensure stability in day-to-day operations. You will collaborate with Finance, Enterprise Technology, and external service providers to implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency, improve service delivery across geographies, and enable data-driven financial decision-making. Your leadership will be key in driving execution while aligning with the company's Finance Technology roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
1. Project Leadership & Execution
* Manage BAU and small to medium Finance IT projects from initiation through deployment.
* Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.
* Lead resolution of production issues and urgent requests with minimal business disruption.
* Oversee end-to-end testing, cutover planning, and production deployments.
2. Project Delivery & Governance
* Create and maintain core PM deliverables including WBS, sprint plans, and status reports.
* Develop and manage detailed project workplans and dependencies.
* Ensure project management rigor and delivery of high-quality outcomes.
3. Risk & Issue Management
* Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues proactively.
* Implement scalable solutions that support business goals and critical timelines.
4. Stakeholder & Vendor Engagement
* Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors.
* Align IT and business teams on priorities and ensure timely resolution of escalated issues.
* Facilitate clear communication and collaborative problem-solving.
5. Reporting & Documentation
* Provide regular updates through KPIs, dashboards, and executive summaries.
* Maintain organized, audit-ready documentation in centralized repositories.


Required Experience & Qualifications
* 10+ years of experience managing complex IT projects, ideally within Finance or Enterprise Applications (e.g., PeopleSoft, Oracle EPM Cloud).
* Proven success managing external vendors and application service providers.
* Strong leadership in cross-functional environments with competing priorities.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Skilled in stakeholder management and aligning technical solutions with business needs.
* Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
* Ability to lead through influence, navigate ambiguity, and work independently.
* PMP and Agile/Scrum certification or equivalent preferred.
