Job Description
As an Integration Developer supporting the NYC Department of Education, I was responsible for designing, developing, and managing the integration of enterprise-level Learning Management Systems (LMS) with various internal DOE applications and administrative systems. My role focused on ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability across multiple platforms, enhancing both functionality and data integrity for large-scale educational technology solutions.
I led API development and integration using technologies such as Node.js, C#, and Microsoft SQL Server, ensuring robust and scalable solutions. I collaborated with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver customized integration solutions aligned with organizational goals.
This position demanded a high degree of technical expertise and experience with large-scale projects, particularly in building secure, high-performance integrations across complex system architectures. I also participated in troubleshooting, performance tuning, and enhancement of existing systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
Additionally, I was occasionally required to attend onsite meetings and working sessions, supporting collaborative planning and technical discussions with stakeholders and development teams.
