Sr. DevOps engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure to design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure, and automated deployment pipelines. This role focuses on building resilient cloud environments, enabling continuous delivery, and ensuring operational excellence for enterprise-grade applications

Key Responsibilities:

AWS Infrastructure & Automation -

• Architect and manage AWS environments (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFront, etc.).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Design and maintain secure VPCs, networking, and IAM policies

CI/CD Pipeline Engineering

• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI.
• Automate deployments for containerized workloads (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
• Ensure zero-downtime deployments and rollback strategies.

Monitoring, Logging & Reliability

• Implement observability solutions using CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK stack.
• Define SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets for production systems.
• Conduct performance tuning and cost optimization for AWS resources.

Security & Compliance

• Manage secrets and credentials using AWS Secrets Manager or SSM Parameter Store.
• Enforce compliance with security best practices and regulatory standards.
• Implement automated vulnerability scanning and patching workflows

Collaboration & Leadership

• Work closely with development teams to enable DevOps best practices.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to architectural decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement in deployment speed, reliability, and scalability

1. 6+ years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Engineering roles.
2. Strong expertise in AWS services and cloud architecture.
3. Proficiency in Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting (Python, Bash).
4. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration.
5. Solid understanding of networking, security, and IAM in AWS.
6. Experience with CI/CD tools and Git-based workflows.

1. AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification.
2. Experience with cost optimization and FinOps practices.
3. Familiarity with serverless architectures and event-driven systems
