We are currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Healthcare Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Cerner in the Tech Services industry. This is a unique opportunity to apply your skills in epic and consultancy to revolutionize healthcare technology. The ideal candidate will have a passion for machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a keen interest in healthcare. You will be at the forefront of cutting-edge technology, developing and deploying machine learning models to improve patient care and outcomes.
Responsibilities:
As a Permanent Healthcare Machine Learning Engineer, you will:
1. Collaborate closely with a team of data scientists, engineers, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms.
2. Apply your expertise in epic and consultancy to understand healthcare data and processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and implement solutions.
3. Stay abreast of the latest developments in machine learning and artificial intelligence, and apply these to your work.
4. Validate and fine-tune machine learning models to ensure their accuracy and reliability.
5. Conduct regular reviews and analyses of the performance of deployed models, and make necessary adjustments.
6. Communicate complex technical concepts and results to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
7. Adhere to all relevant regulations and standards in healthcare and data privacy.
8. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in machine learning, data science, or a related field.
2. Proven experience with epic and consultancy.
3. A strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and principles.
4. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
5. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
6. Knowledge of healthcare data and processes.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
9. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field. A Master's degree or PhD would be highly advantageous.
