Job Details

We are seeking an experienced Senior PeopleSoft Technical Consultant with strong expertise in General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP) modules to join our project team in Jersey City, NJ. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in PeopleSoft development, customization, integration, and troubleshooting, with the ability to deliver high-quality solutions in a fast-paced environment.
 
Job Title: Senior PeopleSoft Technical Consultant (GL & AP Modules)
Location: Jersey City, New Jersey 
Duration: 6 Months (possibilities of extension)
Employment Type: Contract Position 
 
Key Responsibilities
 
  • Lead technical design, development, and implementation of PeopleSoft Financials solutions, focusing on GL and AP modules.
  • Customize and enhance PeopleSoft applications to meet business requirements.
  • Analyze functional specifications and translate them into technical solutions using PeopleTools, Application Designer, and related technologies.
  • Perform system integrations, data conversions, and interface development.Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex technical issues in the GL and AP modules.
  • Collaborate closely with functional teams to ensure alignment of technical and business needs.
  • Optimize application performance and ensure compliance with established coding standards.
  • Support testing cycles including unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testing.Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams.
 
Required Skills and Experience
 
  • Minimum 8+ years of PeopleSoft Technical experience with a focus on Financials.Strong hands-on expertise with GL and AP modules.
  • Proficiency in PeopleTools, Application Designer, PeopleCode, SQR, and Integration Broker.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases (Oracle or SQL Server) and SQL queries.
  • Good knowledge of App package, App Designer, App Engine,Peoplecode and Component interface
  • Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with excellent communication abilities.
 
Preferred Qualifications 
 
  • Experience with PeopleSoft FSCM 9.2.Knowledge of cloud migration or PeopleSoft .Background in Agile or hybrid project methodology.
