Hiring: Equipment Technician
100% onsite in Brea, CA
$18.00 to 20.00 per hour (DOE)
: Full-Time, Contract-to-hire

As a Equipment Technician, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Working under general supervision, you'll diagnose issues, perform technical repairs, and verify product quality before it reaches our customers.

What You'll Do
- Inspect and analyze returned products to identify root causes of malfunctions.
- Conduct diagnostic tests on monitors and related components, interpreting results to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Perform precise electronic adjustments and replace defective parts using appropriate tools.
- Update firmware and verify product functionality through final testing.
- Ensure compliance with internal and vendor specifications for quality assurance.
- Accurately document repair activities and product performance.
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and keep lab equipment in top condition.
- Handle product preparation for shipping, including cleaning, repackaging, and secure boxing.
- Support additional tasks as needed, including occasional onsite service calls.
What You Bring
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing electronic equipment in a technical environment.
- Technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+) are a plus.
- Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing electronic devices such as monitors, projectors, and similar equipment.
- Familiarity with display technology terminology and specifications (AC/DC Currents).
- Comfortable using computers and interpreting engineering documentation.
- Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
