Role: Content Strategist - Must be located within USA

Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain a content strategy that aligns with project objectives and user needs.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify content requirements and ensure consistent messaging.
  • Plan, write, and edit content for a variety of digital formats, including web pages, announcements, and public information updates.
  • Manage content workflows, including version control, approval processes, and publishing via CMS platforms.
  • Ensure all content adheres to accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) and follows plain language best practices.
  • Conduct content audits, analyze performance data, and make recommendations to improve content effectiveness.
  • Maintain an editorial calendar to support regular updates in coordination with CAC meetings and communications.
  • Guide internal teams on content strategy best practices and support training as needed.

Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, English, or a related field.
  • Three to five years of experience in content strategy, digital marketing, or editorial planning.
  • Strong writing and editing skills across formats (web, social, email, etc.).
  • Experience with CMS platforms and publishing workflows.
  • Familiarity with SEO, keyword research, and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush).
  • Understanding of user experience (UX) principles and content design.
  • Knowledge of brand voice, tone, and messaging development.
  • Experience managing content calendars and editorial planning.
