We are seeking a skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our growing cloud infrastructure team in Texas and New York. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing scalable, secure, and highly available cloud-based solutions using Amazon Web Services (AWS). This role requires a deep understanding of AWS services, DevOps practices, and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:-
Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions using AWS.

Automate deployment, monitoring, and maintenance using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.

Implement security best practices including IAM, encryption, and VPC segmentation.

Collaborate with software development teams to support CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system availability.

Optimize cloud resource usage and recommend cost-effective solutions.

Participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation.

Document system configurations, procedures, and changes.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

8+ years of hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.

Proficiency with core AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.

Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.

Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, security groups, and routing.

Familiarity with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred).

Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, etc.).

Solid scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.

AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).

Experience with multi-region or hybrid cloud environments.

Exposure to cloud cost optimization strategies and tools (e.g., AWS Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor).

Familiarity with compliance standards like HIPAA, SOC 2, or ISO 27001.
