Job Description:
  • The I&IT Business Analyst will provide a comprehensive range of business analysis services for clients with diverse business and technological needs.
  • The role involves gathering, documenting, analyzing, and translating business requirements into actionable I&IT solutions.
  • The analyst will also advise on policies, processes, best practices, and standards to ensure a consistent business analysis practice within the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct business analysis to assess client problems/opportunities and document business requirements for I&IT solutions.
  • Interact with stakeholders and subject matter experts to gather, analyze, and validate business needs and requirements.
  • Develop strategies, prepare business cases, cost-benefit analyses, and conduct feasibility studies for I&IT initiatives.
  • Lead requirements gathering using JAD sessions, interviews, mockups, and other techniques.
  • Conduct business modeling, use case modeling, process and data flow modeling, and define business rules and non-functional requirements.
  • Prepare presentations, briefing notes, and documentation to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress, resolve issues, and report regularly to management and stakeholders.
  • Promote consistent business analysis practices by advising on policies, processes, best practices, and standards.
General Skills And Experience:
  • Proven experience conducting business analysis at varying levels of detail aligned with project phases and methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Experience using CASE tools to document conceptual requirements and scope.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and managing requirements documentation.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience with information retrieval packages.
  • Knowledge of Information Management principles, concepts, policies, and practices.
  • Ability to translate business and data requirements into technology specifications.
  • Familiarity with business functional modeling, business event modeling, and business process mapping.
  • Experience with structured, object-oriented, and Agile methodologies for user requirements.
Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Analysis, or related field preferred.
