TITLE: Excel Specialist

LOCATION: remote, working PST hours

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 4-5 month contract

PAY RANGE: $20-24/hr

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking an Excel Specialist to play a key role in a major initiative. Opportunity to work for this Fortune 500 company and a global leader in their industry. Finance team is seeking a detail-oriented professional to assist with a critical project aimed at ensuring compliance with consumer advertising laws. This role involves a comprehensive review and classification of recoverable port costs at the individual tariff level.

• Extract data from an IMS database and organize it efficiently in Excel.
• Identify governmental fees associated with port tariffs.
• Communicate with Port Agents worldwide to gather information on costs that cannot be determined independently.
• Consolidate assignments and responses into a single file for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Coordinate with IT vendors to ensure timely and accurate updates of records in the IMS database.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2-4 years of related experience
• Strong communication skills, as the role involves contacting Port Agents globally.
• Proficiency in Excel, with intermediate to advanced skills.
• Organized and detail-oriented approach to data coordination.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently in a remote setting.

• Availability to start immediately.
