RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Project Manager in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
* Serve as Senior Program/Project Manager, coordinating tasks, teams, and deliverables
* Define and execute goals, priorities, and performance metrics aligned with organizational objectives
* Senior Project Manager will oversee all phases of release management, including design, development, testing, and deployment
* Manage vendor performance and service delivery
* Apply project management best practices and tools to drive efficiency and meet objectives
* Maintain timelines and documentation, including risk tracking and SharePoint project sites
* Lead governance activities and present change requests to executives
* Identify risks and dependencies; develop mitigation strategies
* Monitor performance, contracts, milestones, and financials
* Lead a team of 25+ across business, technical, and vendor roles
* Foster collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement
* Adapt to shifting priorities and engage stakeholders to align expectations
* As a Senior Project Manager, you will resolve conflicts and build consensus among diverse groups
* Prepare status reports for leadership and external reporting
* Manage financial processes and provide updates for capital planning
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's or graduate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
* 5-7 years of experience managing complex, cross-functional technical projects, including data warehousing, analytics, and systems integration
* Proven success leading teams of 20+ and managing budgets over $1M
* Skilled in full software development lifecycle and project management practices
* Strong problem-solving and communication skills across technical and business teams
* Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
