Design and ImplementationAutomation Strategy: Develop and implement an automation strategy from collaborating with Subject matter expertsScripting and Playbooks:Write Python scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate workflowsDevelop reusable Ansible roles and modules for common tasks.Integration:Integrate various workflows using REST APIs and webhooks.Monitoring:Monitor automation workflows and ensure they are running as expected.Set up alerts and notifications for critical issues.Troubleshooting:Diagnose and resolve issues related to automation scripts and playbooks.Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence.Technical Documentation:Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation scripts, playbooks, and procedures.Document incident responses and resolutions.Stakeholder Collaboration:Work closely with application teams, network engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions.Continuous ImprovementProcess Improvement:Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.

Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or 5+ years of related experience in the field.Relevant Certifications:Certifications in the fields of: Service Now Catalog, Ansible, Java Script, PythonYears of Experience:Minimum of 5+ years of experience in automation effortsHands-On Experience:Strong experience in automating workflows using Python, Ansible, Java ScriptCICD platform testingServiceNow:Understanding of Service Now CatalogExperience with ServiceNow APIs and scriptingPython:Experience with Python scripting for automation tasks.Ansible:Strong experience with Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.Version Control:Proficiency with version control systems like Git.Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Teamwork:Ability to work effectively in a team environment.Ability to work independentlyAbility to collaborate with subject matter experts in different disciplines Listed salary ranges may vary based on experience, qualifications, and local market.
