Description

Robert half is seeking a Desktop Support/Service Desk Technician III to join their lean and dynamic IT team. This is a hybrid role requiring both strong technical skills and a proactive, service-oriented mindset. The right candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment where they will wear multiple hats-from handling end-user support to engaging in systems administration and AV troubleshooting.

Begin taking ownership of key support functions such as:
  • 5+ years of experience in desktop support, service desk, or endpoint management
  • Strong hands-on experience with:
  • Windows OS (99% Windows environment)
  • Active Directory & Azure AD
  • MDM tools (e.g., JAMF, Intune, AirWatch)
  • Zoom Rooms and AV systems
  • VOIP systems (e.g., Cisco, Avaya)
  • Windows patching and security updates
  • Enterprise printing and firewall support
  • Zoom Room & AV Support
  • VOIP System Troubleshooting
  • MDM for iOS and Mac Devices
  • Windows Patch Management
  • Enterprise Printing Support
  • Firewall Setup & Network Troubleshooting
  • General IT Support & Account Provisioning
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a small team environment
  • Proactive, dependable, and capable of owning and driving IT projects
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to work cross-departmentally


Requirements

  • Act as a senior point of escalation for service desk tickets across hardware, software, and networking issues
  • Support 500+ end users across multiple sites using tools like Active Directory, Azure AD, and MDM platforms
  • Troubleshoot and maintain Zoom Room setups, video conferencing equipment, and VOIP systems
  • Manage and deploy security patches across a Windows-heavy environment
  • Support mobile device management (iOS/iPadOS), printers, and endpoint firewalls
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address IT needs and implement improvements
  • Participate in an on-call rotation (minimal volume; 1-2 calls per week) and provide weekend coverage on a rotational basis (9 AM-5 PM)
  • Travel occasionally to company sites (travel reimbursed)
