This position is Part-time (20-25 hours per week)
PLEASE NOTE: This is a 6 month renewable contract and needs to meet Client full-time conversion policies. Those dependent on a work permit sponsor now or anytime in the future (ie H1B, OPT, CPT, etc) do not meet Client requirements for this opening.
Must have experience:
- Deep knowledge of U.S. securities laws and regulations (SEC, FINRA, etc.)
- Experience developing and structuring regulatory or compliance content within a SaaS or compliance platform
- Ability to translate complex legal and regulatory requirements into clear, actionable content
- Collaboration with product, data, and AI teams to support compliance automation initiatives
- Strong analytical, writing, and quality-assurance review skills
Overview: We are seeking an experienced Securities Consultant to play a key role in developing and maintaining the securities domain within our next-generation compliance product. This individual will serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for securities laws and regulations, ensuring that complex legal requirements are accurately structured, maintained, and translated into actionable compliance content.
Key Responsibilities:
Taxonomy Development: Design, implement, and continuously refine a comprehensive securities taxonomy that supports accurate classification and retrieval of regulatory requirements and obligations.
Training and Enablement: Develop and deliver training materials, reference guides, and onboarding plans for team members with varying levels of securities expertise to build organizational knowledge and consistency.
Quality Assurance: Conduct detailed QA reviews of securities-related content to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with both internal standards and regulatory intent.
AI Collaboration: Partner with data scientists and AI specialists to train and validate models that identify, extract, and summarize securities-related requirements and obligations from source laws and regulations.
Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate closely with product managers, content operations, and technology teams to ensure securities content is properly integrated and operationalized within the product.
Qualifications:
J.D. or equivalent experience in securities law, financial regulation, or compliance.
Strong working knowledge of U.S. securities laws and regulators
Proven experience developing structured legal or regulatory content, ideally within a SaaS or compliance product environment.
Excellent written communication, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Familiarity with GenAI, NLP, or content automation technologies is a plus
