Job Details

Scope of Services:

The Systems Administrator will assist the Strategic Architecture Services Team with the following responsibilities:

  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Microsoft Power Platform and SharePoint servers/sites (Online and On-Premises).

  • Provide daily operations support, maintenance, and administration of SharePoint and Power Platform environments.

  • Manage projects, systems, and issues of medium to high complexity.

  • Interface with OIT teams and business users to support Power Platform development projects and SharePoint site management.

  • Provide technical consultation, support, and issue resolution to department staff and stakeholders.

  • Education Requirements:

    • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field

    • Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

    • Experience Requirements:

      • Knowledge of SharePoint Online and On-Premises administration:

        • Site management

        • Permissions and content management

      • Power Platform application support experience:

        • Power Apps

        • Power Automate

        • Power BI

      • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 ecosystem:

        • Office 365

        • OneDrive

        • Teams

      • Experience troubleshooting and resolving system, application, and integration issues

      • Knowledge of governance and compliance best practices in Power Platform and SharePoint

      • Experience with network concepts and web-based application troubleshooting

      • Ability to create and maintain:

        • User guides

        • Technical documentation

        • Knowledge base articles

      • Experience using IT Service Management platforms (e.g., ServiceNow) for incident management

      • Knowledge of IIS (Internet Information Services) Administration (preferred)

      • Primary Job Duties / Tasks:

        • Manage and troubleshoot Power Platform and SharePoint (Online/On-Premises) to ensure security, availability, and performance

        • Analyze workflow, access, and security requirements to establish system specifications

        • Upgrade and enhance SharePoint systems in coordination with vendors

        • Provide user support and resolve issues related to:

          • Functionality

          • Permissions

          • Access control

        • Assist users with developing simple Power Apps, automated workflows, and Power BI dashboards

        • Perform regular SharePoint site audits and performance monitoring

        • Generate usage reports and incident resolution summaries

        • Collaborate with end-users to recommend solutions and improvements for Power Platform and SharePoint

        • Maintain documentation including:

          • Design documents

          • Best practices

          • User guides

          • Troubleshooting guides

        • Conduct training sessions and create knowledge base content

        • Coordinate with other business offices for system integration

        • Keep current on new technologies by attending training and industry events

        • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information

        • Support additional IT staff, including developers

        • Perform other duties as assigned
