Technical Project Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Technical Project Manager (TPM) to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex technological initiatives. The TPM will work cross-functionally with engineering, data science, architecture, and business stakeholders to manage the delivery of scalable solutions in domains such as data engineering, cloud migration, AI model deployment, or enterprise software development.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end project delivery across technical domains including software engineering, data platforms, infrastructure, and AI/ML.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, risk registers, and status reports using Agile or hybrid methodologies.
• Collaborating with product owners, architects, and engineering leads to translating business requirements into technical execution plans.
• Facilitate sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives, track sprint velocity and team performance.
• Identify, document, and mitigate risks and dependencies across teams and vendors.
• Manage project budgets, resource allocations, and procurement timelines.
• Ensure technical deliverables meet quality standards, compliance, and regulatory requirements (e.g., data governance, security).
• Serve as a communication bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. PMP, CSM, or Agile certification is a plus.
• Experience: 5+ years of experience in technical project or program management roles, ideally in enterprise environments.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), DevOps practices, and modern tech stacks (e.g., cloud platforms, data lakes, APIs, AI/ML).
• Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
• Proven experience managing cross-functional teams
• Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and modern data ecosystems (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks).
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks
• Understanding of AI/ML workflows, MLOps, or agentic AI systems.
• Ability to work in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and drive clarity.
