Desktop Support Specialist - $24-27/hr

Our client is looking for Desktop Support Specialist. This is a 3+ months contract to possible hire opportunity based in Manhattan, NY (Onsite). Qualifications:
- Requires 3+ years of related work experience.
- Desktop support- high volume, high priority.
- Must be able to provide or have "white glove treatment to executives.
- Knowledge of data backup and recovery tools.
- Installing, upgrading, and migrating of PC's.
- Break/fix for Window OS and printers.
- Able to document service tickets.
- Configuring hardware and applications.
- Configuring network connectivity.
A+ Certification is a huge plus but not a must have.
Must Have & Desired Skills: Responsibilities:
Must be able to provide white-glove treatment to executives strong communication skills
- Provide onsite support to users with operational and technical support.
- Resolve incidents and problems associated with end user equipment.
- Support uses connecting or attempting to connect to the corporate network and assists in the coordination and completion of accessing LAN, print, and file service.
- Provide repair and maintenance for mobile devices.
- Install, upgrade, and repair equipment (desktops, laptops, monitors, and associated peripherals).
- Provide software break/fix services and replacement of non-warranty assets for end users.
- Provide network printers and scanner network connectivity, including providing network support for device configuration, IP address, and direct TCP/IP output.
- Configure and support end-users on mobile computing platforms.
- Deskside support services as required.
Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $24/hour to $27/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training and/or experience.
