Job Details

This is a direct hire position and will need to be onsite in SE Austin 3 days per week. We are specifically looking for someone with IT infrastructure experience.

Position Overview:
The IT Business Analyst will be responsible for providing advanced technical analysis, operational project management support, and IT Security oversight across our IT infrastructure leading initiatives to improve business processes and performance. This role partners with stakeholders to define requirements, ensures systems are implemented, optimized, and secure. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, technical acumen, and the ability to collaborate across our business teams and with external vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead and manage IT projects from planning through completion, including defining scope, desired outcomes, and measurable success criteria.
  2. Partner with technical teams to coordinate infrastructure upgrades, new business applications and systems improvements to promote reliability and scalability.
  3. Coordinate with external vendors and service providers to maintain strong partnerships, support project execution, optimize systems, and ensure timely delivery.
  4. Develop and maintain IT and security documentation, including standardized processes, system configurations and procedures to ensure operational consistency.
  5. Evaluate third-party applications for proper configuration, security posture and access controls in alignment with organizational standards.
  6. Contribute to the information security program by managing key initiatives, enhancing security platforms and controls, and maintaining continuous monitoring to strengthen the organization s overall security posture.
  7. Mentor and support junior team members, fostering skill development, collaboration and knowledge sharing across the IT team.
  8. Assist IT operations, as needed, across production systems, end-user workstations, servers, and network infrastructure including troubleshooting technical issues.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor s degree in IT, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • 5 years of professional experience in IT operations, infrastructure support, information security.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, endpoints, and cloud technologies. Woking knowledge of cybersecurity is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead IT projects from planning to execution, including scope definition, stakeholder communication, and success measurement.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 tools (e.g., Teams, SharePoint, Planner, Outlook) and administrative environments (e.g., Entra, Intune, MS Purview).
  • Familiarity with security platforms such as SIEM, Security Awareness Training, MDM, MAM, EDR, vulnerability management, and penetration testing tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for cross-functional collaboration and end-user support.
  • Relevant certifications ISC2 CC, CompTIA Security+, Network+, Project+, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
