Job Title: Oracle Fusion ERP Solution Architect
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: 6 8 Months (Contract)
Location: Hybrid New Orleans, LA
Schedule: On-site every other week
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion ERP Solution Architect to lead a high-visibility enterprise initiative. This role will play a pivotal part in guiding the integration of multiple acquired business units into a single Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP platform.
The Solution Architect will serve as the strategic liaison between business stakeholders and the technical implementation partner, providing architectural direction, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, and optimizing system performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary solution architect for Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud, ensuring alignment with business and operational requirements
- Partner closely with business stakeholders and system integrators to drive architecture, configuration, and design decisions
- Lead troubleshooting efforts, resolve ERP system issues, and oversee configuration enhancements
- Provide architectural oversight across the full ERP suite, with emphasis on finance and supply chain functionality
- Support post-integration operations across business units
- Deliver subject matter expertise in Oracle modules such as Project Portfolio Management (PPM) and Accounts Payable (AP)
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect with Oracle Fusion ERP Cloud (cloud version required)
- Strong knowledge of Oracle ERP architecture, design, and configuration best practices
- Demonstrated experience managing system integrations and complex transformation programs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Prior collaboration with system integrators (e.g., Accenture, Deloitte, PwC, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting clients in the utilities or energy sector
- Deep expertise in Oracle PPM, AP, and related finance/supply chain modules
- Familiarity with industry-specific applications such as WACS, CCS, or OFS
