Salesforce Software Developer / Administrator

The Salesforce Software Engineer / Administrator will support the Master Data Management Customer Registry program in preparation for the Encino implementation. Will configure Salesforce to pull in customer data from our Oracle Data Warehouse, Leasing, and Loan Accounting systems through an SF Connector / Informatica ETL system. Duplicate and inconsistent customer data exist within and between all three source systems. Configure and customize Salesforce to allow the Customer Data Stewards to review, update, de-duplicate, and aggregate customer data to create a holistic, complete, and accurate customer data records in the core Master Data Management customer registry.

This role is comprised of 80% Salesforce administrative functions and 20% new Apex development. The successful candidate has proven experience in the software development lifecycle to design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system and application programs. They assist in preparing technical design specifications based on functional requirements and analysis documents. Collaborates well with other development staff to achieve quality and consistency and participates in architecture, design and code reviews. Develops and maintains operational and system level documentation. The individual analyses performance of programs and takes action to correct deficiencies based on consultation with clients basedbusiness requirements.

Responsibilities:

Strategy & Planning: Acquire and interpret business requirements, creates a functional specification, provide accurate estimates, and meet deadlines on deliverables. Submit and review technical and process improvement recommendations as a member of the project team.

Acquisition & Deployment: Design application and database components for Salesforce projects. Perform analysis of business models, logical specifications, and/or customer requirements to design and build Salesforce solutions. Provide generalized production technical support. Mitigate technical risks associated with projects.

Operational Management: Guide the team in translating requirements into Salesforce configuration, identifying where custom development/integration may need to occur. Develop and maintain Salesforce applications; make approved changes by amending application documentation, developing detailed programming logic, and coding changes. Provide support for critical application problems and issues. Act as a Subject Matter Expert in the discovery and investigation of critical production problems as required. Partner with business analysts and application super users to successfully complete projects.

Qualifications / Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree or foreign equivalent in related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years' experience working on all phases of the Software Development Lifecycle.
  • 2+ years development experience on the Salesforce platform focused on development areas such as developing with Visual Force, Java-script, Apex controllers, Apex Classes/Triggers Configurations, Workflow, Batch jobs & standard SFDC components.
  • 2+ years experience in building queries using SOQL or SOSL.
  • 2+ years Service Cloud
  • 1+ years experience with data migration and updates through App Exchange Data Loader in Salesforce.com.
  • Resource must have Experience with Visual Studio and TFS, agile/scrum team setting.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability and initiative to learn, teach, and research new concepts, ideas, and technologies quickly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a globally focused multi-cultural environment, and to lead and influence cross-organizationally with and without direct authority.
  • Salesforce Developer Certifications, preferred.
