Job Details

Title: Active Directory/EntraID Engineer
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid - onsite 3 days a week in downtown)
Duration: Contract
Work Requirements: , Holders or Authorized to Work in the US. W2/Direct employment only.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist with AD and Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) integration for:
    • Cross-tenant synchronization
    • Domain trust setup
    • Divestiture preparation
  • Implement collaboration access controls
  • Support user identity, access, and SSO workflows
  • Manage employee data flows during onboarding/offboarding
  • Export/import identity data between systems and apps

Technical Scope:
  • Work with:
    • AD trust relationships
    • Domain/forest restructuring (incl. creation of child domains)
    • Hybrid identity environments (approx. 1/3 on-prem, 2/3 Entra)
  • Tools: Microsoft Entra, Active Directory, scripting, group policies
  • Handle manual processes tied to HR and application authentication

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Strong AD & Entra administrator
  • Hands-on experience with tenant-to-tenant sync, AD trusts, and domain restructuring
  • Skilled with scripting (PowerShell or similar) for data handling and automation
  • Able to manage collaboration across domains securely
