YOUR IMPACT

Vendor Data Compliance team is responsible for the entire life cycle of vendor data contractual compliance, including engaging with vendor audits, reviewing and certifying market data use cases from software applications (both internal and external-facing), designing and implementing entitlement controls and usage metering for real-time and non real-time data, ensuring accurate inventory chargeback, fulfilling vendor of records reporting obligation, and managing vendor data notifications.

The role provides the opportunity to work closely with vendor managers, legal team, business analysts as well as application developers, and directly contribute to improving our commercial compliance posture and reducing compliance risk.

HOW WILL YOU FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
  • Engage with market data vendor auditors to facilitate on-site visits, records reconciliation, negotiation and audit closure.
  • Engage with vendor managers and legal team to fully understand the contractual obligations from market data vendors.
  • Drive software application reviews, recertification and mitigation to ensure the compliance with market data vendors policies and contractual agreements.
  • Engage with software application developers to understand their use cases and system architecture, and enforce the required entitlement controls and reporting obligations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
  • Good understanding of the concepts of vendor data entitlement controls and privilege management.
  • General understanding of market data licensing terms and policies
  • Strong experience in vendor negotiation
  • Experience with realtime data entitlement systems, including Refinitiv DACS and Bloomberg EMRS
  • Ability to interact with software application developers to gain a thorough understanding of their use cases
  • 2-3 years of relevant work experience in a team-focused environment
  • General knowledge of business processes, data flows and the quantitative models that generate or consume data
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to work with subject matter expert to extract critical business concepts
  • Independent thinker, willing to engage, challenge or learn
  • Ability to stay commercially focused and to always push for quantifiable commercial impact
  • Strong work ethic, a sense of ownership and urgency
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across global teams and communicate complex ideas in a simple manner

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Financial Services industry experience
  • Knowledge of Calero or FITS software products for vendor data inventory management
  • Vendor management, exchange licensing and/or business analysis experience
