Job Details

Role: Senior Information Security Analyst (Key Personnel)

Location: Tallahassee, FL - 32399 (Onsite with Hybrid role)

Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 10 years in cyber risk, compliance, or information security
  • Experience performing NIST CSF / NIST 800-53 assessments
  • CISSP or CISA highly preferred (Security+ acceptable minimum)
  • Experience developing SSPs, categorization packages, and audit documentation

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform NIST-aligned risk assessments, system categorizations, and control evaluations.
  • Develop, update, and validate System Security Plans (SSPs), risk assessment reports, and related artifacts.
  • Review DEP systems, processes, and documentation to identify security gaps and improvement areas.
  • Provide remediation strategies and assist DEP in prioritizing risk reduction activities.
  • Validate inventory accuracy (systems, applications, data flows) and align with NIST RMF requirements.
  • Prepare audit-ready deliverables for internal and external reviews.
  • Interpret and apply Florida Cybersecurity Act requirements and 60GG rule compliance.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong understanding of NIST SP 800-53 Rev. 5, NIST CSF, RMF
  • Experience with HIPAA, FERPA, PII, and CJIS compliance
  • Ability to translate technical findings into clear business recommendations
