Role: Java Application Architect

Location : Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Mode: Long term Contract

Job Description :

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Application Development Manager to lead and manage complex application development projects. This role involves supervising technical teams, coordinating with stakeholders and third-party vendors, and ensuring successful delivery of secure, scalable, and high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, guide, and assign work to development team members
  • Plan, schedule, and manage team resources, project timelines, and deliverables
  • Develop work plans, project schedules, and status reports
  • Analyze technical problems and implement effective solutions
  • Lead end-to-end project execution, including systems design, development, integration, and deployment
  • Coordinate communication between business users, Information Services, and third-party vendors
  • Ensure system integrity, application performance, and security compliance
  • Provide system installation support, documentation, and user training
  • Participate in software development, systems analysis, architecture design, and project management activities

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in systems analysis, application design, development, and relationship management
  • Strong leadership and project management experience

Technical Skills

  • Software development across multiple platforms (.NET, Java, R, etc.)
  • Frontend technologies: JavaScript, AngularJS, ReactJS, Kendo UI, jQuery, HTML5, Bootstrap
  • Web application deployment, debugging, and support
  • Web services design and development (REST/SOAP)
  • Version control tools: Git, TFS
  • Database development with MS SQL and Oracle (PL/SQL, T-SQL)
  • Cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
  • DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
  • Application security principles
  • Architectural patterns (Microservices, Monolithic, Client-Server)
  • Test automation tools

Highly Desired Skills

  • SharePoint 2013/2019/Online (CSOM, JSOM)
  • Azure AD and Azure B2C integration
