Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Product Content Designer (UX Writer) to support mobile video creation and editing experiences for a leading consumer technology platform. This role partners closely with designers, product managers, researchers, and engineers to create clear, intuitive, and engaging content across mobile interfaces.

The ideal candidate is a systems thinker who can balance content strategy with hands-on UX writing, and who thrives in fast-paced, cross-functional product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Write, edit, test, and iterate UX content including:

    • UI copy and microcopy

    • Product naming and terminology

    • Onboarding and in-product education

    • Notifications and system messaging

  • Create content for mobile user flows and complex interaction experiences

  • Maintain consistency by applying product voice, tone, and content standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Design, PM, Research, Engineering)

  • Participate in reviews, share work, and provide feedback to peers

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in UX writing, product content design, or content strategy

  • Strong experience writing for mobile apps and user interfaces

  • Proven expertise in UX microcopy, user flows, and interface content

  • Experience collaborating with designers using Figma or similar tools

  • Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills

  • Portfolio or writing samples required (mobile UX preferred)

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with creator tools, video editing, or media products

  • Familiarity with design systems and content systems

  • Experience with insights, experimentation, or A/B testing

  • Exposure to audio or media licensing tools
