About the Role
In this position, the Sr. Validation Engineer will be a contributor to both the Electrical and Platform level validation of server platforms. The Sr. Validation Engineer will be working with cross functional teams to aid in developing as well as executing test plans which will verify product functionality, adherence to electrical specifications and production requirements; including SW stack and use case testing. The Sr. Validation Engineer will aid in debugging, identify root cause and resolving issues as they occur.
Must have server experience, hardware testing and debugging, engineering degree.
What You will Do
- Interface with architecture, design, platform, firmware, and system engineering process
- Aid in test specifications, requirements, strategies, and methodologies
- Efficiently execute test plans to meet time-to-market requirements
- Understand how systems work and be able to identify defects and issues
- Confidently describe test procedures and issues to internal and external stakeholders
- Track and aid in document and aid in summarize test results and collaborate in automation efforts for validation
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in related field required, or advanced degree with equivalent work experience
- 2+ years experience required, preferably in system test or validation
- Ability to aid in scripting for testing and debugging purposes
- Ability to provide clear report findings
