ECS is seeking an ARPA-H PXD Advisor to work remotely . Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

ECS is seeking talented and driven professionals to support the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) People Experience Division (PXD). In this role, you will serve as a technical advisor to ARPA-H-enabling the agency to manage and provide oversight to advanced R&D efforts; help shape future R&D concepts, programs, and solutions; integrate and advance our nation's healthcare ecosystem processes, policies, and enabling technologies; and enable the agency to expand its healthcare and scientific scope into yet unknown areas. As an advisor within ARPA-H, you will provide support and thought leadership to R&D performer teams, Government Program Managers, and stakeholders across the health innovation ecosystem.

ARPA-H PXD plays a vital role in cultivating a dynamic and empowered workforce, driving the organization's mission to innovate and transform key areas of medicine. This division is dedicated to fostering an environment where every team member feels supported and equipped with the tools and resources necessary to contribute effectively from day one. By focusing on the holistic experience of personnel, PXD ensures the workforce remains agile, engaged, and prepared to tackle complex challenges. Within this division, individuals contribute to the seamless integration of new employees through comprehensive onboarding initiatives, tailored training programs, and ongoing support mechanisms. The role involves collaborating across teams to enhance workforce readiness and promote continuous development, ensuring all personnel have access to the guidance and resources needed for success. Through these efforts, the division helps build a foundation for innovation and excellence throughout ARPA-H.

As an advisor within ARPA-H PXD, you would serve as a trusted resource and strategic partner, guiding leadership and staff on best practices to enhance workforce engagement and development. You would provide expert counsel on initiatives related to onboarding, training, and employee support, helping to design and implement programs that align with ARPA-H's mission and culture.

Salary Range: $80,000 - $220,000

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 years minimum professional experience
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research, analyze data, and write scientific/technical reports.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong work ethic and a passion for healthcare and scientific discovery.
  • U.S. citizenship or lawful permanent residency is required per contract.


Desired Skills

  • Three years or more experience within a Federal ARPA organization.
  • Two years or more experience in Federal Healthcare and/or Scientific Consulting.
  • Experience supporting complex healthcare and programs of a research and development nature.
  • Advanced degree (Masters) preferred based upon domain expertise.
