Job Details

Position Overview: As part of a multi-site ERP harmonization initiative, we are seeking an MDM Specialist to drive consistent, high-quality data practices across our systems and teams. With one site transitioning to the cloud and two more on deck, this role is essential for consolidating and organizing data to enable timely and accurate business decisions.

Our current environment is highly manual and fragmented-over 130 spreadsheets are in use for tracking master data-so we're looking for someone who thrives in complexity and can help bring structure, governance, and clarity to critical datasets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the cleansing, validation, and harmonization of master data across multiple ERP systems.

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for MDM, advocating for best practices and scalable processes.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in production, sourcing, sales, marketing, and research to understand and fulfill data needs.

  • Align foundational data (MRP, sourcing), production data, and sales mapping efforts-many of which are already ~75-95% complete.

  • Reduce dependence on Excel by helping build a unified and reliable data ecosystem.

  • Facilitate faster, more accurate reporting by ensuring consistent, trusted master data.

Must-Have Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in MDM, with experience leading large-scale data standardization and transformation projects.

  • Advanced SQL skills and experience working with complex data environments.

  • Comfort working in decentralized, high-volume, and semi-functional data landscapes.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems and cloud migrations.

  • Power BI proficiency is a strong plus.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement skills.

  • A passion for data integrity and a track record of driving measurable improvements in data quality.

  • Ability to work independently in a rapidly evolving environment.
