Job Details

Senior DevOps Engineer
Compensation: Up to $180K (Mix of equity vs. cash)
Location: Remote-first | No H1B sponsorship
Type: Full-time | Build DevOps from scratch
About the Role
We're hiring a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead infrastructure development from the ground up. You'll be foundational in shaping scalable, secure, and automated environments that support our growing healthtech platform focused on AI and patient monitoring.
Key Responsibilities
Build and scale infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines from the ground up
Implement service-oriented architecture principles across environments
Translate infrastructure diagrams into scalable solutions using Terraform, AWS CDK, or similar tools
Own cloud infrastructure security, IAM, networking, and monitoring
Optimize AWS cost and usage with smart resource planning
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure needs
Establish infrastructure that complies with SOC 2, HIPAA, and other healthcare standards
? Requirements
8+ years in DevOps or Infrastructure Engineering roles
Deep experience with AWS, cloud security, and automation
Strong background in CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline
Proven track record with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, AWS CDK, etc.)
Experience in early-stage startups or greenfield DevOps builds
Familiarity with Agile, peer code reviews, and iterative delivery
Bonus: Experience with SOC2, HIPAA, and building in a healthtech or SaaS environment
