Description

We are looking for a skilled IT Support Specialist to join our team in New Gloucester, Maine. This is a Contract-to-permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to work onsite and contribute to the optimization of a customized Salesforce environment. The role involves enhancing system functionality, creating user-friendly documentation, and collaborating with stakeholders to address system challenges effectively.

Responsibilities:

Analyze and identify areas for improvement within the customized Salesforce platform, providing actionable feedback to the IT team.

Develop and refine user documentation, including guides and process workflows, to ensure clarity and usability.

Assist in configuring Salesforce and building reports to support business needs.

Collaborate closely with Salesforce subject matter experts, project managers, and end-users to address system-related concerns.

Perform light technical tasks, such as adjustments within the organization's Salesforce setup, as needed.

Participate in hands-on evaluations to demonstrate expertise and suitability for the role.

Provide onsite support five days a week, ensuring prompt response to user and system issues.

Facilitate effective communication between technical teams and end-users to bridge gaps and improve system adoption.

Requirements

Strong technical aptitude and familiarity with desktop and system administration tasks.

Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into user-friendly language.

Analytical mindset with the ability to navigate complex systems and identify solutions.

Bachelor's degree preferred, though an Associate's degree will be considered.

Availability to work onsite, Monday through Friday.

At least one year of relevant experience in a similar role.

Comfort working in evolving technology environments with minimal documentation.
