Job Summary

We are looking for a highly experienced Release Test Manager with strong expertise in Credit Card or Marketing domain (Amex experience preferred). The ideal candidate will lead end-to-end testing efforts, ensure high-quality delivery, manage releases, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams throughout the SDLC.

Required Experience

Core Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Software Testing.

  • 5+ years as an End-to-End Release Test Manager.

  • Credit Card or Marketing domain background is mandatory.

  • American Express (Amex) project experience is a big plus.

  • Strong understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and project life cycle from initiation to deployment.

Testing Leadership & Management

  • Proven experience developing Test Strategies, Test Approach, Test Plans, milestones, schedules, and execution frameworks.

  • Strong experience coordinating with business, development, QA teams, release teams, and stakeholders.

  • Expertise in test data planning, environment planning, and end-to-end release readiness.

  • Hands-on experience integrating quality principles into design and development processes.

Quality Metrics & Reporting

  • 5+ years of experience monitoring and analyzing:

    • Defect metrics

    • Defect density

    • Test coverage

    • Execution results

    • Test status dashboards

  • Strong ability to generate executive-level QA reporting.

Automation Skills

  • Experience with tools like Cucumber, Selenium, UFT, Tosca — able to evaluate and select automation solutions.

  • Hands-on automation testing & debugging using POSTMAN, SOAP UI, REST Assured, etc.

  • Strong programming skills in Python and/or Java for automation scripting.

Database Skills

  • Experience with RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)

  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.)

Tools & Frameworks

  • Proficient with JIRA, Rally, ALM, SharePoint, Confluence, CI/CD tools, and agile reporting systems.

Preferred Certifications

  • CTFL, CSTE, PMP, or equivalent QA/Project Management certifications.
