Job Title - Scada Engineer/ Control systems Engineer
Location - Detroit , Michigan
Job Description:
Employees must be willing to be on call to support Operational needs.
Installing and terminating electrical connections up to 120v ac/dc.
Removing, repairing, adjusting and replacing components.
Maintaining various computer-based control systems.
Performing scheduled maintenance programs; and,
Keeping up to date with advances in technology in industry and the trade.
Ability to plan and prioritize tasks across multiple Tasks.
Self-motivated and highly organized with good time management skills

Team Player/Cooperative, yet assertive
Must have exceptional problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Must have proven experience Emerson Ovation, logic and programming with Allen Bradley.
Must be able to create and read logic and flow diagrams.
Take responsibility of Ovation/PLC data management, and systems maintenance of one or more systems.
Participate in Operations technology planning for hardware, software, and infrastructure, technical research, and development to enable continuing innovation within the system and infrastructure.
Perform corrective action, troubleshoot, and repair OT system assets.
Perform preventive maintenance on OT assets.
Configuration of OT assets
Determine requirements, design, install, and maintain network and communications infrastructure and assist staff and management with overflow activities involving the support and maintenance of
computers, printers, applications, databases, networks, servers, storage, and data center facilities, and the installation, decommissioning, and relocation of related IT equipment.
Monitor, audit, and analyze the OT Network
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge on control system technologies and standards. Troubleshoot new equipment and work with appropriate vendors to learn functionality and how to maintain and repair.
Perform daily work duties as assigned.
You will have a proven ability to communicate effectively, to communicate frequently with team members and other units across GLWA about processes, equipment, or potential problems as well as to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.
TCP/IP networking and Operating environments such as Windows, VMWare. Foundational Networking knowledge required.

Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor s degree in electrical, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in SCADA is required.
Possess and maintain Emerson Ovation Ov230 minimum and preferred Ov400 certifications, Allen Bradley PLC s, Factory view SE, ME certifications Preferred (i.e. CCNA, VMware)
