Take2 is hiring a Cloud Engineer. This position requires an active Top Secret clearance and is located in Washington, DC 4 days a week.

This critical role is in support of business intelligence and web systems in AWS for our client. The successful candidate will have technical depth and hands-on experience supporting the design, build, and maintenance of cloud architecture along with the integration of new cloud/AWS services on an agile, cross-functional team. The successful candidate will be an experienced engineer with cross-functional knowledge across the infrastructure/platform engineering space with:

• Support Cloud Account Scan Adjudication
• Support Env Sup Security POC with ISSO Relationship Management and Tasks
• Monitor Cloud Resource Utilization and help develop automated tools for reporting/managing the performance/health of the environment
• Demonstrated experience in supporting production, testing, integration, and development environments
• Experience architecting AWS Cloud Solutions and/or AWS Cloud certification
• Demonstrated experience in Linux RedHat SE administration/configuration
• Demonstrated experience with Web Server Configurations:

o Apache Tomcat, and IIS

• Demonstrated experience with various database solutions:

o Postgres, Redshift, Oracle

• Demonstrated experience in performing root cause analysis in complex and distributed environments
• Experience with Business Intelligence tool (specifically MicroStrategy) administration, including experience creating user roles/permissions, plugin deployment, SDK integration, etc.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code, using CloudFormation or other tools
• Experience developing cloud-native CI/CD workflows and tools, such as GitRunner, Code Deploy (AWS), and/or GitLab.
• Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology.
• Experience implementing and designing cloud-native security concepts or DevSecOps
• AWS Certification(s) such as Solutions Architect Professional or Associate, DevOps Engineer Pro, SysOps Admin, Developer Associate

REQUIREMENT:

• At least 8 plus years of experience
• A bachelor s degree
