Manual App Manual Tester

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Needham, MA that is seeking a Manual App Manual Tester whose primary focus will be testing our client's applications to ensure proper functionality and meeting specified requirements. Daily tasks include executing manual test cases, identifying defects, and collaborating with development & other QA teams to resolve issues throughout the app development lifecycle.

REQUIREMENTS:
* Interest in participating in day-to-day testing for manual mobile applications
* Understanding UI/UX functionality for mobile applications
* Ability to work collaboratively with others
* Ability to multitask and problem-solve
* Solid analytical skills with a strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) along with good listening skills
* Flexible in approach
* Out-of-the-box thinker
* Self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
* Comfortable expressing a point of view to challenge conventional thinking
* Familiarity with testing methodologies (Sanity, Regression, Exploratory, Negative, etc.)

Preferred:
* Coursework in relevant topics (e.g. web/application engineering, computer science, robotics)
* Experience with robotics (e.g. microcontrollers such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi, sensors such as IR and Lidar)
* Experience working with consumer-facing IOT devices
* Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and/or Software Testing Life Cycle
* Experience with Jira or similar Test Case/Defect Management Tools

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
