Job Description:
Design, implement, and maintain LDAP directory services to support secure and efficient access management across multiple business units.
Build and segment LDAP infrastructure to create isolated environments for different lines of business, ensuring high availability and minimizing outages.
Write and optimize LDAP queries, manipulate directory data, and provide hands-on guidance for infrastructure build-out and maintenance.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex directory service issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and security.
Automate directory management tasks using scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
Participate in infrastructure modernization initiatives including integration with identity and access management solutions.
Must Have:
Proven experience with LDAP directory services (e.g., OpenDJ, Oracle DSEE, ForgeRock DS).
Strong knowledge of LDAP protocols and directory architecture.
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining LDAP infrastructure.
Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, or similar).
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Plusses:
Certifications related to LDAP or Identity and Access Management (IAM).
Experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V).
Familiarity with container orchestration platforms such as OpenShift.
Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
Experience with Ping Identity products, including Ping Directory, Ping Federate, Ping Access, and PingDataSync.
