Description
We are seeking three PC Deployment Technicians to support an enterprise-wide Windows 11 workstation refresh and Citrix Thin Client replacement effort. This role is ideal for individuals with hands-on desktop deployment or support experience who want to build their skills in SCCM, Citrix/WMS, and large-scale deployment practices while working closely with senior engineers. Work is performed during after-hours deployment windows.

Key Responsibilities

Windows 11 Workstation Deployment (SCCM)
  • Assist in migrating workstations from Windows 10 to Windows 11.
  • Support imaging and device deployment using SCCM and endpoint management tools.
  • Execute workstation refreshes, device swaps, and post-upgrade setup tasks.
  • Validate device functionality, including login, application access, and network connectivity.
  • Escalate advanced SCCM or imaging issues to senior engineering staff.

Citrix Thin Client Replacement (WMS)
  • Replace and configure Citrix Thin Clients across the enterprise.
  • Perform basic provisioning and setup through WMS.
  • Verify proper Citrix session connectivity post-installation.
  • Troubleshoot common hardware and login issues during replacement cycles.

Credit Card Machine Replacement
  • Replace 400+ credit card machines connected to workstations and networked systems.
  • Ensure proper configuration and functionality after installation.

End-User & Deployment Support
  • Provide deskside and floor support during scheduled deployment waves.
  • Communicate clearly with end users during device replacement and upgrade activities.
  • Follow all documented deployment steps and formal change procedures.
  • Update ServiceNow with accurate asset and deployment records.
  • Support senior engineers with project activities as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Experience with desktop deployment, imaging, or hands-on support.
  • Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, SCCM, and endpoint management tools.
  • Basic Active Directory familiarity (logins, devices, groups).
  • Experience with Citrix or thin clients is helpful but not required.
  • Strong communication, customer service, and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to follow detailed technical instructions accurately.
  • Comfortable working independently during after-hours shifts.

This is a Contract position based out of Madison, WI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
